Where is the Museum? Currently the collection is housed in a room on Council premises but because of space limitations we concentrate our efforts on paper based material which is more easily stored.We will accept artifacts provided they are not too large and relate directly to Sandhurst.
The long term aim is to move our growing collection into a permanent Museum allowing direct access for residents of Sandhurst. Until that aim can be realised the Museum stages public showcase exhibitions in the Kitty Dancy Room at the Community Centre, which are changed periodically.Please telephone the Council offices before making a visit as the Kitty Dancy Room is not always available for direct public access. |
