Sandhurst Clubs Sandhurst has had a very wide range of clubs over the years, covering not only football and cricket but tennis, netball, tug of war, gardening, brass band and youth clubs. Sandhurst Social Club began in 1920 as the working men's club, the buildings in Wellington Road being erected by public subscription. College Town Boys' Club, founded in 1920 by Mr Pearce the headmaster of the local school was well supported until the 1950's.
